見た感じは、
I went to see “Kaichi School” in Matsumoto City.
This time on the Shinkansen…
I went to Matsumoto this time. When I have a car, I will go by car, but this time I will go by train. However, unlike the train life I used to go to in the past, this time it’s the “Shinkansen”. Very early. If you go to Matsumoto from Osaka Station by conventional train, it will probably take about 5 hours, but this time it will take about 1 hour by Shinkansen to Nagoya, and then about 2 hours by conventional train to Matsumoto, so it will take about 3 hours in total. board. The transportation fee is about 10,000 yen one way, but the Shinkansen is fast. However, I wonder if Nagano is now faster from Tokyo, is he originally faster? However, with the Joetsu Shinkansen, I feel like he’s pretty fast from Tokyo.
So, Matsumoto’s important cultural property tour, first of all, the national treasure “Former Kaichi School”, which was designated as an important cultural property in 1961 for the first time as a pseudo-Western style school building in the Meiji era. In addition, this Kaichi school is the first elementary school in the prefecture, which has continued from the clan school Sukyokan to the Matsumoto clan studies by the Meiji Restoration, and Chikuma prefectural studies after the abolition of feudal domains and prefectures. It was founded in 1873 as the first elementary school, Kaichi School. It was built under the leadership of Moriteru Nagayama, the governor of Chikuma Prefecture, and the construction cost was about 11,000 yen, 70% of which was procured by donations from all the residents of Matsumoto Town. What is interesting is that Kiyoshige Tateishi, a local master carpenter, was in charge of the design and construction of the quasi-Western-style building. This ridge is great.
Kaichi school
This “Kaichi School” is located near Matsumoto Castle, and there are many old buildings in Matsumoto. Matsumoto is a fairly large city in Nagano Prefecture, on par with Nagano, but if you drive a short distance in a city full of nature, you can reach the Alps. You will be in a big mountain. In the midst of nature, there are various shops and pensions, and he seems to have a lot of fun. For the time being, there is Matsumoto Station, there is Matsumoto Castle, and there is “Kaichi School”.
It’s kind of Chinese, but…
At first glance, it feels like a white building on a large site, and the letters that say “Kaichi School” are old-fashioned or somewhat Chinese, but is it just my imagination? But is it still Chinese style with dragon decorations? When I went inside, he said that there was a classroom that felt like a school, and that there was a reference room. It’s gorgeous for a school, with lights that look like modern architecture and decorations on the pillars of the stairs. There is even stained glass. The corridors are probably from those days, but the walls have been cleaned up. After all, it’s a school, so it’s a classroom. Wherever you go to a school in an old building, he always has a similar classroom. There is a podium on a higher level and he has a blackboard behind it and a table and chairs. In my memory, I feel like I had two chairs on one desk and drew a line to separate my territory from the child next to me, but at this school the desks are old wooden desks, but they were divided into two. I was However, when you think about it, it’s a super luxurious school.
