重要文化財　松本市の”あがたの森図書館”に行ってみた。旧松本高等学校とセットです。

あがたの森図書館

松本の町はずれに森林のなか？って感じに　重要文化財”あがたの森図書館”がありますが、旧松本高等学校とセットになってます。とりあえず、綺麗な建造物です。なんか　うらのほうのは入り口あたりに車を止めるところがあって　そこに車を止めるのはいいが、止ってる車をを見ると　なぜかふんだらけ、上を見ると木があるので　多分その木にとまってるカラスかなんかの”ふん”なんでしょう、お気の毒さまでございますって感じです。ただ、この木の向こうに並木や校舎が立ち並んでます。その中にこの”あがたの森図書館”があります。なかなか見栄えのする建造物です。

旧松本高等学校

この敷地は”あがたの森公園”ヒマラヤ杉やケヤキの木々で囲まれた公園で、その中に旧松本高等学校があって、その一画に”あがたの森図書館”、いわゆる松本市立図書館があるってことで、昭和の文学家”北杜夫”さんの出身校がこの旧松本高等学校らしく、この図書館には”北杜夫”さんの書籍のコーナーがあるみたいですが、北杜夫さんって一時すごく流行った、”どくとるマンドウ”さんですね。今は有名な人だけど　親の斎藤茂吉さんが有名で　そっちの知名度のほうが高かった気がするが、東北大学の医学部出身で医師でもある小説家ってイメージで　このどくとるマンボウの”どくとる”ってドクターのことなんだって　印象がありますが、また、”あがた森魚”さんていうシンガーソンウライターがいますが、調べてみると　あまりこの”あがたの森”とは関係ないみたいで、ずっと関係者かなって思ってましたけど・・・。この”あがた”って言葉の響きがいいので　調べるとあがたは”県”とかいて、昔の皇室の直轄の土地のこと、”こおり”は国の直轄地の事だそうで　地名にもよくある県や郡のことで　あがたは皇室の持ち物の土地っていう意味なんだって感じです。

割と自由に出入り出来るみたいです。

この建物は中にも入れて　いまだに図書館として使われてるのかな～、自由に出入りできます。中はさすがに学校みたいな作り？になってるようで　階段の踊り場とか　ただ、階段が木造だったりしますが、そこがいい所で昔の図書館らしいところがいい。廊下沿いに各部屋に分かれていて　資料館などもあったような気がしますが、それより　やっぱ、昔の近代建築感があって、電灯とか窓とかがやっぱ凝ってます。この辺を重点的に見ていきます。いいですね、森の中の図書館って静かで　また、高校もあってなんとなく昔の学び舎って感じがすごいです。

Among them is this “Agata no Mori Library”. It’s a very nice looking building.

Former Matsumoto High School

This site is a park surrounded by Himalayan cedars and zelkova trees, in which the former Matsumoto High School is located. The fact that there is a library, it seems that the former Matsumoto High School was the alma mater of the Showa era literary figure, Morio Kita. It’s “Dokutoru Mando”, which was very popular at one time. He’s a famous person now, but his parents, Mokichi Saito, were more famous, and I think he was more famous, but he had the image of a novelist who graduated from Tohoku University’s medical school and is also a doctor. I have the impression that it’s a doctor, but there’s also a singer-songwriter named ‘Agata Morio’, but when I looked it up, it didn’t seem to have much to do with this ‘Agata no Mori’, so I’ve always been involved. I thought you were someone, but… The word “Agata” has a nice ring to it, so when I looked it up, “Agata” means “prefecture,” which refers to land under the direct control of the imperial family in the past, and “koori” refers to land under the direct control of the country. It’s a common prefecture or county in Japan, and Agata means land belonging to the imperial family.

It seems that you can go in and out freely.

I wonder if this building is still used as a library, so you can go in and out freely. Is the inside really like a school? It looks like it’s going to be a landing on the stairs. Each room was divided along the corridor, and I feel like there was a museum, but more than that, he has a sense of old modern architecture, and the lights and windows are elaborate. We will focus on this aspect. It’s nice, the library in the forest is quiet, and he also has a high school, so it feels like an old school building.
