京都の出町柳（京阪電車）の駅をでて、鴨川を渡る。

出町柳の川向うの道を四条に向かって降りて行くと　道の途中に　この京都府立医科大学がある。

っていうか　この辺は鴨川沿いに　ずっと川沿いの道をいけば、町側に出れる道があって　町中にいけるようになっているのがすごい。

これって　計画的なのかどうか？この府立医科大も　この校舎の中道に鴨川沿いのみちがつながってて　いえば、いつでも川沿いに出れる。

そして　この川沿いが結構整備されていて　多分、晴れた日は　川沿いで弁当を広げたり　お茶を飲んだり、もちろん　鴨川を見ながら　結構、ゆっくりできる感じがいい。

そのための川沿い道からの　いいアクセスなんでしょう。

立派な校舎の中にぽつんと”近代建築”が

そういう感じで　この府立医科大がある。

この校舎は実際　りようされてるのは、最近に建たれた立派な近代風校舎なのでしょうが、この大学本部棟っていうのがあって　これがまた、立派な近代建築です。

窓も入口もアーチ状って感じで　中も整備されてて実に見事な建物です。

多分、京都府立医大は1921年公立大学として設置された　ということですから、この1921年にこの建物も建てられたんだろうと思いますが、名前も本部棟ですから、この建物が基本的な中心部の建物なんでしょう。

近代的なビル棟のなかに　ぽつんとこの古めかしい　近代建築があるって　本部なのでのこしてるんだろうか。でも、綺麗な建てものです。

通りすがりだったので、全体的には写真を撮れなかったですが、中からのアーチ型の窓が綺麗で　近代建築が映えてます。
