Kishiwada: The building of the former 43 Bank on the Kishu Highway, the Kishiwada area is famous for its spinning merchants.
Kishu Kaido has many old bank buildings.
If you go down Kishiwada Castle, you will find Kishu Kaido. There are quite a lot of places to see in this area as well. Especially the old bank building, now it’s a different bank or government office, but it’s also a restaurant. Every building costs a lot of money, and he also has a lot of buildings with the best retro feel, and there are many in Osaka city, but there should be a lot of them in this Kishiwada area.
In the Kishiwada area, there are many people who have made their fortunes in the spinning industry.
The Kishiwada area is definitely a spinning industry, isn’t it? Spinning mills I think there are a lot of people who say they have become rich, especially if there is a famous company. There are also many factories and buildings related to spinning. Isn’t that why there are so many banks?
Former Forty-three Bank
Constructed in two-tone colors of red brick and granite, this historically dignified building was built in 1919 as the former Shijusan Bank.
It is still in use today as it was when it was first built, and the interior has a suspended ceiling with no pillars. The designer is unknown, but judging from the style, there is a theory that it was Kingo Tatsuno, a master of modern architecture.
