雲仙普賢岳にある”雲仙観光ホテル”に行ってみた。結構有名な老舗旅館、ホテルかな。

雲仙　山を登る！

長崎から諫早方面を通って雲仙に行ってみた。結構遠かった・・・、した道も混んでるわ、山登りも距離があって　登っても登ってもつかないって感じで　すごい遠い。つくころには湖みたいなものがあって　町が出てくる、こんな山の上に街的なものがある、これって温泉町ってことですか。その中心部ぐらいかな　やっぱ煙が出てる　じゃなく湯気ですか、やっぱ温泉なんですね。すごい硫黄のにおいとまさに火山からでてる熱気で　温泉がわいてるって感じがすごい。この一帯の旅館・ホテルはまさに温泉なんでしょう。

■すばらしいホテルです。

温泉町なんでしょう、雲仙は。

そんな町の中に”雲仙観光ホテル”がある。かなり老舗で有名なホテルらしい、見るからに立派で年期がめいっぱいって感じで　いかにも高そうな感じで　泊ることはさすがにできないって感じですが・・・。日光にある”金谷ホテル”や軽井沢にある”万平ホテル”に類似するような　古く歴史がある　しかも剛健、柱が太い　人も少なく静かで　落ち着いがあっていい。でも、考えるに　このような格式のあるホテルは　建物自体も有形文化財に指定されていて　建物保護のために助成があるのでしょう。ですから、商売上の問題ではなく　維持するためのコスト全体は国から出てるんでしょう。結果的につぶれないんでしょう。こういう形式ってどうなんでしょう、ちょっと考えものですが　建物をみても　ん～、近代的なものに建て替えてもいいんじゃないですか？そんな感じですが、どうでしょう？

雲仙は降りるのが早い。

帰りは下りなので　異常に早かった。下り　下りで車が勝手に下っていきます。そのせいで　すぐに山を降りることができた。”はや～”の一言です。が、また　した道は混雑していて　高速にのるまでが長いですが、でも来る時よりは早く長崎に着きましたが、思ったよりは少し早めに着きました。

I went to Unzen from Nagasaki through Isahaya. It was quite a long way… the road was crowded, and the mountain climbing was so far away that I felt like I couldn’t climb it. There is something like a lake around the time of Tsukuba, and a town appears. It’s about the center of it. The smell of sulfur and the hot air from the volcano make the hot springs feel amazing. The inns and hotels in this area are truly hot springs.

Unzen is a hot spring town, isn’t it?

There is “Unzen Kanko Hotel” in such a town. It seems to be a long-established and famous hotel. Similar to the “Kanaya Hotel” in Nikko and the “Mampei Hotel” in Karuizawa, it has an old history, and is robust and has thick pillars. However, when I think about it, the building itself is designated as a tangible cultural property, and the building itself is subsidized for the protection of the building. So it’s not a matter of business, but the whole cost of maintaining it will come from the state. As a result, it will not collapse. I don’t know what to think about this kind of format, but if you look at the building, isn’t it okay to rebuild it with a modern one? That’s how it feels, but what do you think?

Unzen descends early.

The return trip was downhill, so it was unusually fast. Downhill The car will go down on its own. Because of that, he was able to get off the mountain quickly. It’s just one word, “Haya~”.
