Ono Jizoson in Shigaraki, where autumn leaves are beautiful. It is located in the pass area on the way from Shigaraki to Minakuchi.
Shiga Prefecture has Shigaraki ware.
In Shiga Prefecture, there is something called Shigaraki-yaki, and I sometimes go to Shigaraki because I want to see Shigaraki-yaki tableware.
There are Iga and Koka in the Shigaraki area.
Shigaraki is probably famous for its pottery, but you can often see the words Iga and Koga in the neighborhood. Is this a ninja? That’s right, it’s a ninja. If you go from Shigaraki to Mie, you will come across places famous for Iga Ninja, such as Iga-Ueno. There is also a ninja house-like sightseeing spot. Here you can find information about what ninja used at the time, their lifestyle, the tricks of the ninja house, and other fun attractions. It seems that they also let you experience being a ninja, so that’s what it feels like. For the time being, it must have been a ninja village in the past. Somehow, there are many raccoon dogs in Shigaraki ware, and there are many pottery of raccoon dogs. Also, Shigaraki seems to be known as a village of raccoon dogs. What is Ninja Village Equal Tanuki Village?
I found a standing tree with beautiful autumn leaves on the Shigaraki highway.
It’s such a place, but in this Shigaraki, get off at Shinmeishin Shigaraki Interchange and head towards Shigaraki. Lined up. The autumn leaves were so beautiful that I stopped by. I stopped the car and took pictures and videos, enjoying the autumn foliage. It is convenient because there is a good parking lot where you can park your car. Since it was Sunday, there were many other customers.
There is a signboard called Ono Jizoson Kotokuji Temple.
So, there is a signboard at that place, and the characters “Ono Jizoson” are written. Apparently, this area is called Ono Pass, and there is a jizo there, so I guess that’s why it’s called ‘Ono Jizo Mikoto’. In addition, it seems that there is a temple called “Kotokuji” if you cross this track and go up. The sign is up too. So when I got home, I looked it up on the internet. Then I found an old photo of the same place, and in the old days there weren’t any trees with beautiful autumn leaves, and it was just overgrown with grass. I guess this is the strategy of this temple? Stop by something that stands out and if he doesn’t mind, please visit the temple. Certainly, a few guests said to the temple. Perfect. Also, some new trees were planted, so I’m sure they will increase the number. Even so, the autumn leaves were very beautiful standing trees. I agree.
