I went to the “Salesian Church” by bus.
Take a bus through the streets of Tokyo. I’m in the mood for sightseeing.
To get to the Salesian Church in Tokyo Take the bus along Salesian Avenue and get off at the bus stop, and the Salesian Church will be right in front of you. But it feels good to go to Tokyo by bus. The townscape is fun, with apartments, crowded townscapes, utility poles, and some places are more messy and commoner than Osaka. Sounds good···. Traveling by bus in such a commonplace Tokyo It’s fine if it’s like a trip.
“Santa Maria Cathedral in Edo”
This church, located in Himonya, is actually called the Himonya Catholic Church, but it was built by the Salesians in 1954 as the ‘Cathedral of Santa Maria in Edo’ and has been known as the Salesian Church.
“Our Lady of Sorrows”
A Romanesque-style cathedral with a total floor area of 752m2. The bell was donated by a believer in Milan. Carlo Dolci’s statue of Mary, “The Madonna of Sorrows,” is displayed inside.
It is famous as the wedding venue of Masateru Kanda and Seiko Matsuda.
It seems that Masateru Kanda and Seiko Matsuda held a wedding ceremony at this church, and it was amazing at the time. I mean, isn’t Seiko Matsuda popular? On TV, I could see her chasing the car they were riding on in a helicopter. It was like a national event. After all, celebrities need money for weddings, but if you think about how to come up with hundreds of millions of dollars for marriage expenses like that, he has a lot of money such as TV broadcasting rights, exclusive interviews, and wide shows on TV. The wedding celebration that comes in will be amazing.
As expected of Tokyo! The church is steeped in history in many ways.
If it was Seiko Matsuda’s class, perhaps hundreds of millions of people would gather just for the gift… Also, it seems that it was used in the TV drama “Someday, at the Salesian Church”, which is a marriage story. Such a girl is in a town that feels like this Catholic church is in such a place. The inside is really beautiful. Somehow, rather than being pretty, he has a sense of history, and he’s a bit old-fashioned.
