It was built in 1932 by Jinkichi Terada, the former president of Nankai Railway, to commemorate the great achievements of his father, Jinyoshige Terada, the founder of Kishiwada Spinning.
Designed by Bushi Watanabe, the Spanish-style building is of high academic value.It was called Jisenkan at the time, and was used as a social gathering place for Jinkichi’s company.In 1943, it was donated to Kishiwada City. After that, in 1944, the metal was lost due to the supply of metal, but it was restored in 1982. The decorations at that time are also a highlight.
