いつ来てもいい”小樽”という街。今回は電動自転車を借りて広範囲で小樽を回ってみた。

自転車で小樽をまわる。

小樽は3回目ぐらいだと思うが、今回はいつもとは少し違って　っていうか、自転車を借りて広範囲を回ってみようかって感じで。

小樽の何がいいかっていうと　小樽の中心通りの近代建築のビル街です。小樽は、昔は北海道の中心都市だったんでしょう。

坂道になってる　中心の通りにはいろんな金融系の立派なビルが　ズラリと並んでる。今回は　この辺と　小樽の裏町とか　海沿いとかそんな事を目的に行った。

で、まずはいつもの　小樽のすし屋街から　おみやげ通りを行きます。あいも変わらずですが　観光のお客さんが　ちらほらと通っていきます。今年は　何とも言えないこの”コロナ渦”で　せっかくの外人の方々のにぎわいが　あっという間に消えたらしい。

コロナ前はインバウンドの方々でごった返してたって話ですが、今回　行った時は観光の方々が　本当　ちらほらって感じです。人が少ないので　回りやすいのは事実ですが、お店の人たちにとっては　つらい時期です。

小樽はやっぱ、運河、寿司、ガラス品

とりあえず、小樽に来たら　このおみやげ通りです。

ここからスタートって感じです。それから、ガス灯の運河沿いや、海辺沿いとか　倉庫街、そして　山手の街のほうに行って　たくさんの近代建築のビル街、その他　協会とか　それから駅前の三角市場とか　小樽は　街的には小さいだろうが　見るところは、たくさんあります。

ビルを一件一件づつ回っても　すごい時間がかかる。でも、じっくり見たいビルだらけです。でも、相当時間がかるんだろうけど、何回も来ないといけない感じですが。

地形的にも山手って感じの坂のおおい街で　上から見る海沿いの街並みの景色が　とてもいい感じで・・・。そんな街にきれいな建築物がたくさんある。北海道ってやっぱ、その函館にしても　札幌にしても洋風っていうか近代建築が多い。

協会も多いが、これってやっぱ、五稜郭に代表されるような　新たな国の建築のためとか　屯田兵に代表されるような　最近、開拓されたっていうか　そんな影響なのか、それとも　ただただ、海外に影響されてるのかどっちなんでしょう。

そのへんはわかりませんが　とにかく綺麗な街並みが多い。この小樽もその一つですが・・・。

今回は日銀どおりです。

普通だと　観光ルートは　やっぱ、ガス灯のある運河、そのとおりにある倉庫街、各ショップ。

あとすし屋街ですか、それと　ガラス品などが売られてる　おみやげ屋さんのとおりとかを行くのが　普通ですが。知る人は知ってる”日銀どおり”、これがいい。

りっぱなビルがたくさん並んでる、夜とかにはライトで照らされていて　また、一段ときれいです。

また、最近の旅行の傾向ですが　レンタサイクルで電動を借りる　そうすると、坂道もスイスイです。この感じがいい。ビル街のはだまの　小さな道もすいすいと入っていける。また、アーケードの商店街なんかも入っていける。

そんなところに結構　めずらしいものがあったりする、やっぱ旅行って発見するのが　結構、感動もんでいい感じですから。

で、”日銀どおり”って　きれいな通りは　坂になっていて　海に下って行ってる感じの　ちょっと広めのとおりで　山手のほうには協会なんかもある感じで　おすすめの場所ですが。

今まで　2回ぐらい小樽に来たが　このとおりは知らなかった、で、今回　初めてって感じですが　なかなかの場所です。

So, let’s start with the usual sushi street in Otaru and head down the souvenir street. Sightseeing customers are still passing by her. It seems that this year’s indescribable “corona whirlpool” has made his bustle with foreigners disappear in a blink of an eye.

I heard that it was crowded with inbound people before Corona, but when I went this time, it really felt like there were tourists here and there. It’s true that there aren’t many people, so it’s easy to go around, but for the people in the store, he’s having a tough time.

I feel like I’m starting from here. After that, he went along the gas-lit canal, along the seaside, the warehouse district, and the town of Yamate, where he found many modern buildings, associations, and the triangle market in front of the station. Otaru is a small town. There are many places to see.

He takes a lot of time even if he goes around the building one by one. However, there are many buildings that I want to take a closer look at. However, it will take a considerable amount of time, but I feel like I have to come many times.

Geographically, it’s a hilly town that feels like a mountain, and the view of the seaside cityscape from above is really nice… There are many beautiful buildings in the city. In Hokkaido, even in Hakodate and Sapporo, there are many Western-style or modern architecture.

There are many associations, but after all, this is because of the recent development of new countries such as Goryokaku and Tondenhei. I wonder which one is influenced by overseas.

I don’t know about that, but he has a lot of beautiful cityscapes. This Otaru is one of them.

This time it’s the same as the Bank of Japan.

Normally, the sightseeing route would be a canal with gas lights, a warehouse district along the street, and various shops.

Also, it’s a sushi street, and it’s normal to go along the street to the souvenir shops where glass items are sold. People in the know know, “as the Bank of Japan does”, this is good.

He is also much prettier at night with many fine buildings lined up and illuminated by lights.

Also, as a recent travel trend, he rents an electric bike, so the slopes are easy. I like this feeling. You can easily enter the narrow streets of the building area. Also, you can enter the arcade shopping street.

There are quite a few rare things in places like that, and discovering things on a trip is quite moving, and it feels good.

So, “Bank of Japan Street” is a beautiful street that slopes down to the sea, it’s a little wider, and there’s an association on the mountain side, so it’s a recommended place.

She’s been to Otaru twice so far, but she didn’t know about this street.
